Yes, we have a cemetery in our area that we are working with. We are offering a cemetery with which we cooperate, not only a headstone, but also a grave for 630,000 yen (tax included) including a perpetual use fee. It is possible to have the remains delivered as soon as the next day after purchase (however, only the engraving fee of 33,000 yen will be charged separately).
Engraving is offered from the basic package (family name and main stream years). No other fees will be charged.
We have landed graves available, or we can build a grave in your own cemetery. We can also work with a real estate agent to find a cemetery of your choice, or we can introduce you to a cemetery’s landed graves.
The 630,000 yen grave (Japanese Ryukyu type 600 type) is approximately 1.6 m high and 60 cm wide with a splendid Japanese design. It can hold four 7″ type urns, which are common in Okinawa.
Granite graves are expected to last much longer than the concrete graves that were common in Okinawa. Concrete graves crack and crumble after 4 to 50 years of use. Granite, on the other hand, is hard granite, so this will not happen. The stone itself does not deteriorate over time in the same way as concrete, so it can be expected to last 100 years or more (however, caulking and other materials will deteriorate, so maintenance is necessary).
