Urasoe Josetsu Ishizai will custom build a grave according to your request. If you already have a cemetery, we will build a grave of your choice there. If you have an old cemetery, we will investigate the strength of the earth. If you wish to have older graves, we will investigate the strength of the earth floor, and then we will propose the most suitable design and size of the graves, listening to your wishes on what kind of graves you would like to have.

Flow of custom-made graves

1) Make an appointment for a consultation

(2) Hearing about the desired graves

First, please tell us about the story you envision.We will ask about your desired grave size, design, number of urns to be stored, budget, size of yard, type of stone, etc.

(3) Preparation of estimates

Based on the image of the grave you have given us, we will prepare documents (such as an image drawing) of the grave to be made. Based on this information, we will prepare a written estimate. If you already have a cemetery, we will prepare an estimate taking into consideration the condition and shape of the grave space and the location of the work to be done. If the grave is to be rebuilt from an old grave, the estimate will include the cost of removal.

4) Signing of contract and payment of deposit

Once the customer is satisfied and has decided on the desired grave, a contract will be drawn up. Once the contract is signed and the deposit (one-third of the total amount) is received, the fabrication of the headstone and construction of the gravesite will begin.

5) Drawing production

Drawings are prepared according to the customer’s requirements. The customer’s request. Based on the design and size of the grave, our professional grave designers will create a drawing using CAD.

6) Tombstone fabrication and earthwork begin

⑦ Arrival of gravestone and payment of interim deposit

We manufacture the tombstones under thorough quality control in Fujian, China, the world’s leading stone producing area. When the manufactured headstone arrives at our company, we ask for an interim deposit (one-third of the total amount). After confirming the payment, the tombstone will be assembled.

8) Assembly of graves

Professional stonemasons who are familiar with graves will assemble your graves. Our stone craftsmen, who specialize in stone materials and also work on public works, are highly skilled in their craftsmanship. Under strict quality control, we make graves that meet your expectations.

(9) Confirmation of completion

After all construction is completed, please check the completed grave.

(10) Settlement of balance and delivery

After confirmation of completion, the remaining balance will be settled after the client is satisfied with the work. Once the remaining balance has been settled, the property will be delivered.
